An exercise in remembrance. "Cross-Stitching Art" is a tactile response to the ephemeral nature of memory. This project uses the slow, repetitive rhythm of the needle to fix a moment in place. Each stitch is a breath, a quiet protest against the fading of thoughts, transforming a simple thread into a physical archive of nostalgia.
The Weight of the Thread. The project explores the melancholy found in the repetitive gesture. There is a certain sadness in the perfection of a grid and a deep humanity in the small imperfections of the hand. We focused on the intimacy of the material: the way a thread holds tension, the way shadows fall between the stitches, and the heavy silence that accompanies the work.
